Festival of the Mind 2016
Dr Laura Ferraiuolo and Monika Myszczynska collaborated with two Sheffield-based artists, Cassie Limb and Mike Futcher, on an interactive art installation devoted to the astrocytes . The exhibit, called “Starts in the Brain”, was part of the 2016 edition of the Festival of the Mind. You can find more information here.
40th Anniversary of MNDA
Autumn 2019 marked the 40th anniversary of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). Ferraiuolo lab’s Chloe Allen, Monika Myszczynska, Lai Mei Wan, and Andre Varcianna were present alongside the volunteers from the South Yorkshire division of MNDA at Meadowhall Shopping Centre on 6th October and ran a science workshop for the members of the general public to raise awareness of MND.
