I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate working with Prof. Laura Ferraiuolo and Dr Richard Mead in a collaborative project with Benevolent AI. I am working on a drug screening program, utilising in vitro patient-derived models, as well as in vivo models of ALS. We hope that through this collaboration we will be able to identify new compounds and targets for future ALS therapies, whilst also uncovering the mechanisms behind disease progression and pathology, especially in motor neurons and astrocytes.
